Everything you need to know about The Promised Series Trilogy, starting with Catherine Black's epic story!

Catherine Black isn't an ordinary shifter wolf like you'd think she is.
In fact, her entire family isn't.
Catherine can manipulate emotions - which has been as much of a gift as it has been a curse. Where others feel anger - she feels rage. Where others love affectionately, she loves so deeply she would sacrifice her own life without a second thought.
In the midst of dealing with all-day life, Catherine and her younger brother Emmet are attacked in their home by a cloaked figure. That shadows hide his face only make matters more complicated - raw magic isn't common knowledge in Everett Valley, the little secluded town they live in.
A new family moves to town - one believed to have travelled all the way from the eastern part of Espheros. How they found Everett Valley, hidden behind the dangerous and bewildered Denhid Forest, is a mystery Catherine vows to find out. But her focus is needed elsewhere.
Kendra, her bonded friend for life, finds the second half of her soul in one of the mysterious newcomers. Because the entire town assumes the family is human - their relationship is strictly forbidden. A shifter wolf entertaining a relationship with any of the other two races, either human or immortal, is to be rideculed and shunned.
Catherine feels it's her responsibility to help her friend and make sure Kendra, and her promised, never complete the first stages of the everlasting bond that ties their souls together. The Promised Bond.
Deaths, however, rake through Everett Valley, disturbing the peaceful state it had once been in. It divides the very town known to have been successful in achieving the impossible: uniting the three races.
Humans, shifters and the immortals.
Catherine must choose between the council and her pack leader; her brother and anyone that would follow him.
When Catherine tries to find a balance between dealing with the deaths and her best friend's dilemma, she only finds herself spiralling more and more out of control.
Her own promised steps into her life with one, fiery sweep and sets her life ablaze allthemore.
But family is everything. Family is what makes life worth living.
Who would she be, if not for her brothers, Reece and Emmet?
Who would she be if they left her behind?
It seems an easy choice - but life changing decisions never are.
In the end, family is still everything.
But Catherine is connected to a much bigger war then the one sparking to life within Everett Valley's walls.
She does the unthinkable: fly into the flames of war, head on, without armour.
But she wasn't gifted with the ability to manipulate emotions for nothing. Even in war, emotions rule their leaders.
And Catherine rules them all.

A world like no other!
From secret dragons to the kings of the north, over a murderous river to the wars of Ior'Gea.
In Espheros, you will find anything and everything.
Lets start with dragons, shall we?
